If you want balloons that don't pop so easily, try the thicker ones that comes one-to-a-pack (quite large) and come with a rubber band so the user can bounce it on his/her hand. When my daddy made his own wine he slipped one of them over the neck of the gallon jug to catch the fermentation gas.
