Sound Healing & "The God Tone" with Mark Patterson @ Omvibe

"At 16, internationally acclaimed sound healer Mark Patterson was awakened from a near death experience with gifts from the Elhoiem or celestial choir: deep spiritual insight and the ability to create an astonishing variety of healing tones and sounds with his own body. He is known as the "human singing bowl" for his ability to create incredibly pure tones, from the lowest registers of some Tibetan bowls to the high frequencies of the finest crystal bowls."


We were very blessed to have Mark Patterson lead us in a "Yoga of Sound Healing" presentation at Omvibe Yoga last weekend, and Mark graciously agreed to be videotaped and shared with the world, so hear : ) we are. On this 10-minute excerpt of Mark's presentation, Mark demonstrates his uncanny ability to produce very pure tones with his vocal chords, and his vocal range is amazing -- you'll hear very high, resonant tones, as well as very low tones, like those you hear Tibetan monks do, as well as that which a didgeridoo produces (I played my didge along with Mark, and objectively speaking, he blew me away! no pun intended!) On a more serious note, Mark shares with us how we might view autism and autistic children, as well as what they need most from us. As I said, we feel so blessed to have Mark teach at Omvibe.
