Conservation Agriculture in Chiapas

I recently went to Chiapas to learn more about how the effort is going to spread Conservation Agriculture in the Mexican State. Conservation Agriculture is a more sustainable way of farming that CIMMYT, in partnership with the rural development program MasAgro, is working to disseminate.

What I found was this: the methods and benefits of Conservation Agriculture are not as important as how one person connects to another to explain them. That is the real issue. And the six-person dream team in Chiapas works with a combination of skill and heart that is infectious.
