@Hayabusa449 I believe he actually took the reincarnated body of like a zombie when he "died" in the first movie. He's just some evil spirit of revenge from the horrors he suffered as an innocent man. The series gets a little bit stupid but consider it like the Halloween or Friday the 13th series. After a while the evil character becomes a more invincible supernatural force that cannot die as easily as a normal man.

I thankfully managed to find a region free copy of MC1 on ebay. I also found a region 2 of MC2 but it was hard to find and can get expensive

Always liked the way he spun the police baton around at the start of this clip, would love to know how to do that.

Actually (I haven't seen 2 or 3) as far as I recall, he was just some cop who got sent to prison in a frame-up job by some fellow officers and got his face royally fucked up by some convicts, and that then PRETENDED to have died so he could get out.
These sequels seem to say otherwise.

It's Claudia Christian but Paula Trickey is also in the film as a young stripper.

My favorite scene was the guy with the fucked up teeth robbing a bodega store clerk and making him scratch off the lotto tickets to wim. Then maniac cop shows up and kills the clerk who said he won $5,000, And maniac cop gives the murder weapon to the robber with fucked teeth and when the real cops show up they kill the robber cause he thought it was one of them that killed the clerk and he gets shot by the cops. LOL
