My comment about the song has nothing to do with the tempo... This song has very little energy for most of the song. So you essentially can do double time energetic moves wherever you want mixed in with the drawn out, slower movement. They do it beautifully and create their own energy with highs and lows to it but nothing in the song corresponds to that. The last 45 - 60 seconds would be the exception. It's also essentially a cha cha beat...
only really good West Coast dancers can pull off dancing to slow music, that is why most national competitions throw in so many slow songs, separates the men from the boys.

Why did you put "dynamite" in your description? I was trying to find a west coast swing dance to the song "dynamite" and this came up.

I agree that the crowd energy was was way to high for the song - and they wanted to cut loose but were in bondage to this pathetic song.
They needed a high energy song - and it would have made the whole place come alive....
