This test was done with a Macbook 1,1
Specs:
1.83MHZ Core Duo
1 gig ram PC2 5300
320 GB HDD
220GB for Mac OS
21 GB for Ubuntu
OS Boot Time
OS X 25 seconds
Ubuntu 26 seconds
Note
The two operating systems where on clean instals. OS X was installed first and then Ubuntu at the end of the disk.
You guys are welcome to double check the times if you like.
Note I love Ubuntu more than Mac OS X!!!
