  • Just bought one... Can't resist the temptation!!

They have a un-believable deal now: a super computer of $2900 now only costs $1249

  • is wimax free???? or do you have to pay a subscription fee to use Wimax?

  • no, it's because it's running outdoor. ambient light is strong and any lcd screen must look dimmed.

  • To Laptop Mag:

    1. Did you notice the the yellow hue overlaying the screen?

    2. Your video camera is recording a very high level of glare from the screen, is this always the case (under different light conditions)?

    3. I am assuming because the laptop is running off of the battery, the screen has been dimmed to preserve the battery life. Or is it set on a higher / est level of brightness? Given the glare, and the daylight, the screen looks awfully dimmed!

  • Thats great, when my plan expires I am going to Sprint. Ever since they aired that commercial, of true unlimted usage I've been waiting eagerly for my ATT to expire.

I am stuck 2 years even though I only signed up for one year. Both verizon and att are notorious for scams ike this.

  • this is not att broadband, it is xohm owned by SPRINT/Clearwire, and sprint does not have limits on MB usage on their unlimited plans, such as verizon and Att with their 5GB limit.

  • Its too bad nobody can afford to use ATT's broadband.

    Why?

Because ATT has a strict 5GB limit.

Which is like 8 hours of hi res movies.

Go over that limit and ATT will charge enough that the user will have to sell his car to pay the bill.

    Corporate America the over lord.
