New Ray RL/Amrep FL (old style)

this is sort of an experimental video I made which includes music (which might sound a bit nerdy but I like the tune), but is also the first one I've attempted adding realistic truck sounds to, thanks to some of shadofax96's videos, some of mine, and jeepman65's transfer station vid (of the ol' mack rolloff). Hope you enjoy and I'll be waiting for any comments!

~~UPDATE~~ (7/23/09) Because of how poorly I feel how this turned out, I might be remaking a video like this with only the Amrep FL, and better quality 'real truck sounds' actually in sync with the model truck itself...Stay tuned!!

@Arcotec100 Don't remember where exactly I bought the New Ray (1st truck) but you can find them on toytruckcity . com for $20

The Amrep (2nd truck) is not made anymore. eBay will be about the only place you MIGHT be able to find one (used).

Excellent! I definitely have a FEL VERY similar to yours... I think it's in my grandparents attic somewhere... I'll have to get it and see if it's exactly the same, the next time I'm in that area. I know that I got mine around the early to mid 90s when I was like 10. Does that one have the buttons on the side? for sound affects?

Yeah it's got 3 small square shaped buttons in black I think, I'm sure I took out the batteries due to that lol! It's quite a realistic model, I actually like it very much lol!! Thinking about it now, when you do get the chance to check that one out, why don't you get a real quick video or even just stills of it so we can see, I imagine it's the same but could be slightly different...who knows? I think mine had 3 or 4 gray buttons... and I don't remember mine having the black and yellow diagonals on the can either, but other than that, looks just like this one. I will probably bring it home the next time I go up there... it'll be a while though... probably Thanksgiving at the earliest.... it's in VA. Yeah, I definitely had a ton of fun with that truck as a kid... I guess the least I could do is make a vid of it and give it a space on a shelf somewhere :-)

I found one last year and I almost one it for 100.00 but someone out bid me. Man it was a nice truck- burgandy waste management arrow logo old style packer.
