Mine is a 73,according to the factory manual none of the early 70s models had tachs(or even a VSS to run one)it wasnt until 76 or later that tachs were installed

@guitartec I think you're right ... I had one just like it and rode to high school..
What I had, was a 1974 and it was the same color and I remember the padding on the gas tank, like this one inthe vid....

my dads got one we only just got it going it wouldnt start cus there was a tiny bit of dirt in the carburetta my dads is a 1974 cb 200
