Two horses at a farmstand party are adored and patted by very young children. Glendale and Gilford, Arabian-percheron brothers ages 5 1/2 and 8, get lots of attention and eat it up! (That fence tape is NOT electrified.) At Beans'N'Greens farmstand in Gilford NH. http://beansandgreensfarm.com/

The boys' usual job is pulling a carriage together and trail riding. They were born and bred in Gilford, NH. More about raising and training these young perch-arab brothers since their birth, natural backyard horsekeeping, carriage driving, horseback riding, life in New Hampshire, and pets -- at petArtistWIthPeaches natural horse blog. • Gentle giants :)

  • @DawnMM1 Funny, they are more gentle and quiet around little kids than around adults sometimes. this was a side of them we had not seen before.

  • Lovely, I love video's like this :)

  • @DiamondNotch THanks-- it was so fun to watch them, both the horses and the kids of all ages!

  • Mellow magnificent beautiful horses!

  • @pixiehorse Thank you! Did you see my other video where they were serenaded by a Bagpipe player??? We have always handled and treated them well so they are very used to/respectful of people, but it did surprise us the first time (last year) we did this farmstand event and they seemed so happy to get attention from the kids!

  • @MegF142857 YEh we had to keep lookout for little ones running under the tape, only happened once or twice! No problems of course-- our town is rural (few of these are city kids) so mostly they were not afraid of animals.

  • Your horses are awesome! The people are really good with the horses too. Everyone is rubbing vs patting their heads. No one is trying to scare the horses. No kid is running under the tape. Pretty cool!

  • @pecoslover97 and I totally agree with that, our daughter at 12 started taking care of her own horse. It kept her out of trouble throughout her teen years and she learned maturity and so many life lessons!

  • the title is AMAZINGLY TRUE horses are THE BEST THING FOR KIDS my horse had tons of issues with colic and I got kinda deserted in taking care of him so i became the most INDEPENDENT PERSON and theres more to our story but horse give kids a great personality they teach us sooo much and im a kid and i realize it kids also become very responsible if they care for their horse not have a barn do EVERYTHING FOR THEM haha
