Under This Mask, I'm... Your Ex (Cailey Story; Part 1) 1/2

Hey, so I was going to do a trailer of this, but decided not to.(In other words, I'm being lazy.)
So, I hope you like this and if you do, I'll continue it. I think I'll also just focus on this and my arranged marriage series, too.
I'm just too busy to write all the stories I have now, so if you want, you can look back at my other stories and if you think you have an idea
for one, then please message me, asking if you can carry on writing it and I'll probably say yes. xD
I'm just losing inspiration, and plus, I can't think of any plots for my stories accept for this one and my arranged marriage one. I hope you understand. :)
So, I'm working on this story, arranged marriage, you've changed(on my other account), and a few stories on my shared account and that's it.

Today was the day. The day of what, you're wondering? Well, it's the day of the Masquerade Ball which is taking place tonight
in the exact same place as it was when they all had that 'International Dateline' Dance.


The thing which was troubling Bailey is that she had nothing to wear! All her outfits were just casual clothing, or else it would be her farming clothes, which she was so not going to wear to the dance.
She had no intention of wearing any of her clothes to the dance.
And she can't borrow something to wear off London, because she thinks that she wouldn't allow it, even though they've been good friends for awhile now.
She also had to get a mask, to make things worse and more stressful. But then the thought crossed her mind "Maybe I just shouldn't go."
Should she miss the dance or not? She doesn't have anything to wear, so she might as well.
Unless she asks London, even though she's pretty sure she'll say no, no matter how close they are now.
Everyone knows that only London gets to touch and wear her clothes, it was kind of a rule she made up herself.


Just then, London entered the room. She looked really happy, but then caught a glimpse of Bailey, and frowned at her appearance.
"What's wrong, Bails?" She asked in a concerned way, while taking a seat on her own bed, which was opposite Bailey's.

Bailey shook her head. "N-nothing," She stuttered out. "I'm fine, don't worry," She added, trying to reassure her.

"Bailey, I know when something's up. So, spill." Her face turned serious in Bailey's direction.

Bailey sighed. "It's nothing major, I just have nothing to wear tonight."

Her mouth turned into an "O" shape. "Gasp! That is major!" London shreaked, putting a hand over her chest.

Bailey rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'm just not going anyways." She layed back on her bed, looking depressed.

London changed position on her bed by folding her legs and arms. "Is this about, Cody?" She raised an eyebrow, curiously.

"Um, why would you think that?" Bailey asked, nervously.

"When it comes to boy troubles, I just know. And besides, I can tell you so haven't moved on from him yet."

Bailey sighs once more. "You're right, but I can tell he has moved on."

"How do you know?"

"It's kinda obvious. I mean, he likes that Russian, blonde, girl now," She said sadly. "Lucky her," She mumbled afterwards.

London didn't hear her, though, and luckily, ignored it. "You never know, he could just be trying to move on from you, but deep down inside,
he can't stop thinking about you."

Bailey began to smile and it increased it's size. "Wow, London. I hope you're right. And you are smart when it comes to boys."

London smiled. "And fashion!" She added, giggling.

Bailey rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh yeah, and fashion."

"So, what are you going to do about tonight?"

"I have no idea. I guess I just shouldn't go." She shrugged as if it were no big deal, but on the inside, it was killing her.
She desperately wanted to go.
