Flash Red/Anthony Gilbert perform "Leah" a song written for someone very special to me, who wanted nothing more than to hear a song about her self through a love that was fashioned by a very unique moment in my life. Reluctantly, written. The song reveals and recollects a story of a boy (Norman Rockwell 1st Kiss Syndrome)who abound his bike finds his first love in a moment of passion as he rides by her while being introduced and calculates his destiny of being with her someday when all life can make sense through one simple announcement, declaring "Your the best" his lone statement that is supposed to be a fairytale ending experience in one second and a thought all too fleeting in the next "I will find her" he says to himself. Something he never really understood. An age difference could prevent the outcome but the upbeat approach is suitable for any courtship. The choice is something that no man could have made for himself other than the boy evolving to something almost encrypted by the notion of never finding its magic. The song takes place at the end of the journey and the realiztion of what caused the revelation. The cheetah represents a beanie baby, a gift given to her as a sign of thoughtfulness. The scope represents the blind focus of a man who ascends through life in search of something that he is unaware of. The thought of targeting something unseen, only to realize the thought of being targeted himself drives his wantoness to his destiny by virtue of luck and harmonius realization. Selfish for his sake in placing her that remarkably high in his life without ever finding out her intents and purposes... A happy gamble nonetheless. A magical love mystery of a life I will never forget. Love bound to a moment forgotten and realized by a blind search.
