@bfreecity It goes without saying, if ExpertVillage says to do it one way, you should look for the actual right way somewhere else.

Your title should be "(Predominantly) IDIOT VILLAGE"... I mean, MS Word? No, I did that once. I wrote a huge macro thing and it worked BETTER than final draft, for everything. Much more intuitive, but it sucks at pagination....Word does. FD sucks just because. Get something else. oh and for FD....50 mb is way too much space for a screenwriting software to use.

It would be much nicer, I think, if the TITLE is CAPITALIZED, BOLDENED, and UNDERLINED, and sized at 20pt in Courier New; and then below that, at 12pt., unboldened, and regular caps, type "An Original Screenplay by" or just "Screenplay by" and then the author or authors' names. Far more noticeable and appropriate, yet subtle and professional. :)

CeltX is the best program for writing screenplays, novels and the like.

But what if the work is from somebody else, and your just making your own version. Would I include both my name and the original writer?

@jonnyhboy94 it is awesome i use it to!

This is awful. Don't listen to this guy. Please see my videos for more accurate information, specifically for doing a cover page see this vid: Dan's 2-Minute Screenwriting School #1 - How Your Screenplay Should Look Industry Format Final Draft

This is incorrect. I am a professional screenplay reader for a major Hollywood agency and read several scripts a day. If your script is good, it doesn't matter how incorrect your title page is, but just to be safe, you should do it right...
First write the title, then skip a line, then write "by" or "screenplay by" or "original screenplay by," then skip another line and write your name. Don't put anything in bold.
You should never use Microsoft Word. Never.
