Advice: 1) Spiral blades have their place (eg. portraits), but for cutting straight lines and basic curves like this project, flat blades would give you better results... the lines would be smoother and straighter and it would look more like the pattern lines (even if you went off a little) 2)Generally it is better to cut out all inside pieces before cutting around the outside... you did ok with it here, but you created a weak part (ie. extension of the A w/the dot for the i ) that could break.
