  • GEANT...........si j avait la tune je m en acheterais un ....avec un p51.......of course

  • sa ne serait pas à Darois par hasar?j'y ai passé mes journée pdt une petite semaine !super vidéo

  • i soo want to be u.... :(

  • Ok , mais la musique est à chier!

  • me thinks he likes to get on the corsairs 6 and think bad bad thoughts hahahahahahah

  • Spitfire soundbarrier- impossible. frontal area of airscrew and other parasite drag elements made it impossible, However one pilot recorded in a dive that he got into control reversal. Although many pilots did not accept this story. Alex Henshaw test flew Spitfires with contra airscrews.

  • Yep they have use the contra rotating prop rather than the 5 blades prop for torque purpose on the Mark 19 and other later models... with the great Roll Royce Griffon engine the torque is so strong that the contra rotating prop is a valuable and effective compromise.

Actually Both planes you can see on the video the Corsair and the Spit belongs to Mr Christophe Jacquard and are based in Dijon Darois France... poor guy !!! looks like he really doesn't know what to do with his money ;-)))

  • I do agree RAF pilots flew under American command, and Spit Mk9 under American markings (limited number) but as far as I know the Mk 19 never was a navalized version of any Spit. Maybe Seafires but after the end of WWII. So if over Tokyo, not as operational missions.
