I remember seeing a nice definition somewhere, that Latino is generally a mix of Amerindian and Spaniard (Caucasian), sometimes also mixed with African (but not always!). They're usually as white as Greeks or Italians.

Latinos have a great portion of Spanish/Portuguese blood in them and, as the history shows, it's the Spanish and Portuguese people who developed the Atlantic slave trade. The word "nigger" is from "negro" meaning BLACK, not Brown. I'm not hating on anybody, just tellin some facts

@criollo4ever Im mexican too. Hes not calling anybody a nigga, hes using the word as a " term of endearment" as he put it. It all depends where u grow up. I went to a school with mexicans and blacks and we alll said nigga and no one got butt hurt cuz we know its not being used to slander an entire race its being used to refer to ur friend or someone else. Its part of everyday vocabulary. Just like when u say buddy, dude, or homie. Its only an issue cuz people make it an issue.
