American Eskimo dogs rescued by the Oregon Humane Society in early June 2009 from a puppy mill in Kennewick, Washington. The Oregon Humane Society took 91 of the 371 American Eskimo dogs found in the puppy mill. 60 dogs remain available for adoption. Please consider an adoption if you have a love for dogs; or a donation to the Oregon Humane Society. Thank you.

  • Wow, just got your email! I'm so happy for you. your baby looks beautiful and he is a lucky boy! congratulations to you both! I'm sure his gratitude is overwhelming!

    Kudos to you!

  • My wife and I have 9 Eskies. Seven of them are rescues from shelters. They are the greatest companion dogs one could ever ask for. Our "pack" gets along just fine. Better in fact then many human siblings do.

  • If you are seeking a dog that most closely embodies the soul and spirit that of a small child, the Eskie is for you.

  • I wholeheartedly agree!

    thanks for the comment!

  • @almisca Aww well that's good! He's very cute and I'm glad you could give him a new home! I have an Eskie as well but she wasn't from a mill or anything, although I consider her kind of a rescue as she wasn't in very good shape when I got her (the owners lied to me). I was thinking of uploading a vid of her playing sometime soon ^_^

  • @cloudstrifex88 I got the dog @1:50 he is my sweet puppy! He likes to play bite games and ABSOLUTELY loves to have his affection time!

  • Opps, it didn't let me share the video /watch?v=VGjAn3G8JwY

  • The dog in 1:50 was called Clayburn, it's my puppy, I adopted him! He is sooooo cute! I renamed him as Nick, and now he is such a great dog, and soooo playfull with me. I can share happy videos of him on VGjAn3G8JwY

  • i couldn't watch the whole thing i was in tears. I rescued my american eskimo from the humane society couple yrs ago So happy we have each other now, he is always by me. I picked him out but he saved me in a way. He makes me smile everyday.

  • Forgot to add Ollie & Felicia are also doing well. Little Ulfred had a hard time of it but is doing better now. I'm missing 2 of them I can't remember right off hand right now though.

  • I took almost all of these dogs & 3 of them passed away from Lymphoma, very common in these Eskimo's, Reese Quinn & Adson, lost their battles & are now playing on the Rainbow bridge, Jesper lives in Canda, Tolek lives in Spokane, Adkin didn't even make it to my house before he got adopted, Hanska is now Link, Healy is now Luke, Mardell was adopted out then returned to Seattle Humane where he found a good home, contrary to our adoption contract Joska & Odale are doing well, Willa lives in Seattle

  • can you send me one over jk i wish i could get them
