Is this Highway 40?!? Those conditions look pretty bad for driving. I'm going from Vegas to Denver next January and I'm an Australian beginner driver so I have ZERO snow/ice driving experience :) so I'm a little worried. Do you know if even Interstate 70 in Colorado is often covered in snow? Cheers

This is Berthoud Pass/Highway 40 from Winter Park Resort to the top of the pass. YouTube video = 2OqinKeZfTg I definitely had it in 4WD though.

That's Highway 40 around Winter Park/Berthoud Pass. :) Those actually aren't bad driving conditions. Those are pretty typical for winter.
Interstate 70 is often covered in snow but CDOT keeps it plowed pretty good. They maintain Hwy 40 too.
For views of Interstate 70 in winter and to get some winter driving hints, check out this video from the Colorado Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) YouTube video GjBFaivABYA The views are around Copper Mountain and the Eisenhower-Johnson Tunnel.
