REAL LIFE STORIES - Chapter 8 - ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY, OR RUNNING TO?

If a person is not running TO Jesus Christ, they are running FROM Him. Which way are YOU running?

Imagine a book of testimonies published from YOUR local church like this one to be put out into YOUR community? This REAL LIFE STORIES book of testimonies has gone into nearly 100 different countries. It is being translated into other languages around the world, and souls are being reconciled to God through it. But amazingly, it was never published initially to go around the world! It was published to reach lost souls in the Hobart, Indiana area, yet LOOK how God is using it to help fulfill the Great Commission around the globe! Nearly 100 different countries??? Wow!!!

Just one simple non-religious appearing book of testimonies glorifying God. NONE of us have a clue how God may use Jesus-glorifying testimonies that help point people to what God the Father accomplished through His Son Jesus Christ dying on the cross for the sins of mankind that we might be saved from the punishment of our sins -- NONE of us! Yet if we dont write out our testimony so He can use it - it CANT be used by Him, can it?

And if no one publishes a book of testimonies, God CANT use a book of testimonies. Someone has to be willing to be used of God to give God a resource like this REAL LIFE STORIES book to work with. Why not YOUR church?

God does not will that THIS Real Life Stories book be the ONLY one published. God desires that Pastors/Evangelists of churches around the WORLD essentially duplicate THIS book. Publish testimonies from the people of THEIR local church. Anything complicated about that?

The question becomes -- just how ENTHUSIAST is YOUR church leadership in TRULY wanting to reach lost souls in THEIR respective communities -- is the question posed. Does YOUR church leadership see any value in YOUR Jesus glorifying testimony or NOT?




Perhaps your Pastor needs ONE person to help spearhead a testimony book from your church, for a book to happen with your testimony in it. Could that person be YOU?

Many churches spend hundreds and thousands of dollars a year assisting missionaries in third world countries to help reach lost souls - when people need reached right in our own communities and surrounding communities. A book of testimonies like this REAL LIFE STORIES book can be working just like a missionary -- but a whole LOT cheaper, and very possibly a whole lot more effectively (though thank God for missionaries around the world!)
