This is the theme of Gilgamesh in Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword. It's a great song, and is one of my favorite tunes from the game.

I have included all three versions of this music from Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword in this video.

Enjoy!

  • Awesome beard... I am really envy of his beard. Each time I see his face I wish to cut it off because I really really like to have his beard!

  • The Holy Roman Empire King looks like Burger King

  • @needmorebrain

I was just playing and thinking that. how do they get their hair to look like that? feels bad man.

  • Epic Beard...

  • King of Heroes... Do you have enough swords?

  • @itarethetroll The city of Babylon would later come to power two times, with their second empire after the downfall of the Assyrians being the most powerful and prosperous as they untied all of the Fertile Crescent including the Jewish lands under King Nebuchadnezzar.

  • @itarethetroll No Sumer was just the very first empire of Mesopotamia, some historians like to debate on whether Egypt or Sumer came first, and they just controlled the lower portion of Mesopotamia, not the entire region. The empire of Sumer wasn't really under direct control of a single government, it was divided into city states like "Ur" "Uruk" "Eridu" etc, but were united by similar culture and trade, sort of like Greece.

  • @TheMegaScampi IRAQ wins afterall.

  • @TheMegaScampi Sumeria WAS THE Mesopotamian civilization. Babylon and Akkad were just places within the region of Sumeria, which is basically Mesopotamia.
