I have a LOA (Lights of America) 25 W from 1999-2003 that is still going today. By the look of the bulb, only about 2,000 hours. Rated for 10,000. I dropped it on a carpet by accident and it didn't break. Pretty thick glass, I'll make a video about it soon.

12 volt, not 9.
I have something like that in my lamp in my room, except it's a uh...swirly type lol.

I got this one in the mid 90s. it has the old fashion magnetic ballast with a preheat starter. all the newer ones are electronic ballast and start instantly.

Yep...and I never knew that energy-saving light were made in 1990s >_>

yep, but they were nowhere near as popular as most of them were preheat like this and had to "flicker" on just like this one does.

What camera model do you use?

all the videos here "except one" were shot with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T1 camera.
