Professor Jason Johnson's first national television appearance. A baptism of fire against well known television host Bill O'Reilly. Jason Johnson was working as a political commentator and columnist for PoliticallyBlack.com and wrote a piece discussing the recent assaults and problems at the Puerto Rican pride festival in New York City. He was invited to discuss problems of the "inner city" with O'Reilly.

  • O'reilly is spot on on this, mionority neighborhoods are the most dangerous in America, and soon they wil be the majority of Americans!! I fear for this country!!!!!

  • WTF??? Police officers are "scared" to service these communities because of the violence, drugs, etc???? Uh...that's what they signed up for and what they're PAID to do...with our tax dollars I might add. Is this O'Reilly's pathetic argument? Fighting crime goes with the territory of being a POLICE OFFICER. Oh yeah, O'Reilly is "winning" ...Duh.

  • Bill O'Reilly - Proof positive that conservatives are morons in love with the sound of their own voice! Amen.

  • Oreilly needs to read a book on willie lynch.

  • This is probably the only Black conservative whom I DON'T want to slap.

  • Fuck this racist wife cheating punk O'Reilly,Jason is on point.

  • If you're a scared cop quit your fucking job. You're not paid to be a coward, you're payed to go above and beyond.

  • had a white person reached into their pocket to get a wallet, i really believe the police would not have been so quick to shoot.

  • I agree! Drug use is by and large more of a health issue. You don't see people committing all kinds of crimes to get a drink (of liquor)--lol!!

And it is also a spiritual issue. Apathy isn't a crime--but it certainly becomes one when something happens to a loved one. This is why I love reciting the (7) kwanzaa principles of blackness. It helps to rediscover what we should do and then acting on it (hopefully) will inspire others to do the same.

And it is good for ALL people--not just black.
