The New Yankee Stadium- Empty Seats

These are empty seats during the the third game played at the New Yankees Stadium on 4/18/09. The seats remained empty throughout the game. Time to re-evalulate your pricing model? This is the game the Yankees got blown out 22-2. However that had nothing to do with the empty seats. This one couple has the whole section to themselves. Guess they don't need aisle seats in that section.

actually they play 7 times a week, EVERYDAY from april to october!

I am not american, I heard baseball teams play like 3-4 times a week! I am impressed they can get this much crowd playing so many times a week.

soccer clubs will play once or twice a week... NLF teams play what? 16 times in a year?

lol i live in miami, "Packed" in marlins stadium is like 900 people... This... for us would be fucking overcrowded

LOVE it! A first place team and you've got TONS of empty seat in camera view every pitch because you've outpriced many fans in this tough economic time... Who am I kidding?! Who wants to pay a grand to sit behind home plate for a 48 degree day game in April?!

Before the price cuts halfway through the season, some of those lower seats could run about $2,500.
