Why Red Faction was genious

My goal was to kill the guards on the bridge by falling to their death, if you're wondering why I didn't just shoot them so I could destroy the bridge in peace.

dont you need that bridge to progress or no? you can probably just blow thru the walls and make a tunnel to where u need to go thats what I love about this game pure destruction.

I really hate the guards that have the rail guns later in the gasme one hit they kill you no matter what even with the unlimited health and armor they still kill you. ive been saving often like after i kill a few, and i go crazy with the rail gun killing anything that shows up on the heat vision scope. i was first killed this way on tha battlefield level then i just took out my nuclear rocket launcher and nuked everyone on that level.
