@trytolivelivetotry you can lose at at least a little. I lost once here(2nd), and still got a star rank.(150cc) hit some obstacles.(ugh...! moonview highway!) fall off a little.(didn't) so that's how you get a star!
3-star:
-60 score
-no obstacle hit
-don't fall off
-hit cpu's
that's how to get 3-star rank
and also, rainbow road isn't so bad once you get used to it
now it's my favorite course!

That little turn on rainbow road right before the finish line is the turn that I fall off to I really hate that turn!!!

your right i hate ranibow rode its hard because when you go roung a corner there is another and you fall of and when you get back up your in last place

you know when the num 2 fades away hold down 2 or a if you have the classic control

but only the carpet in the begining

the carpet does make you faster if you do the trick on the right time witch is were your on a wave
