  • From the deepest coldest darkest Bavaria - thanks for your video post. A lament to the demise of the Hibernian Moggy (aka Celtic Tiger). A polka or slide, reel or jig would probably be more appropriate. I sincerely hope a mix of Sinn Fein and Independents (if push comes to shove Labour) get into power. The great and beautiful country we come from deserves more than the gombeens from FF and FG. Fcuk the IMF and international bond holders banks and greedy slime behind all of them and the 85 bn

  • Thanks, well there you said it... and it is amazing how many of the very so called politicians who took liberty from us can even consider running again....as for this so called universal service charge ... totally unfair to ask some one like us here ..off grid with very little income and not drawing social welfare to pay it ..and the gas thing is folks will vote for them...a mad world indeed....

    Deepest darkest Bavaria sounds wonderful..

  • made me abit sad jim,not sure for what'

    lovely tune

    bill

  • Some times i feel sad too bill, When i see the way the new irish trait of greed and selfishness has become the normal thing here. I feel the Air can be a link to an Ireland in decline....perhaps i m wrong

  • Lovely tune, Jim. Thank you for posting it.

  • Thanks, its not often i get the chance to play these slow airs, they are not that popular in pubs.....mores the pity I think the air is one our most powerful tune types..

  • You are absolutely right, Jim. Hope to hear more of them from you.

  • yes and this year we notice the cuckoo are closer to the house, does it mean we will have a long hot summer!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice, Jim!! Looks much warmer than here in Illinois! Our trees are bare and its raining out. You must feel the way about the cuckoo as I do about our redwing blackbirds. When I hear them singing.. ,to me...only then do I feel like spring has returned!!
