My 2011 bucket garden planted, watered with my automatic system, and growing. I'm attempting to grow some vegetables from seed in the buckets this year. They'll probably need some watering from the top, like a traditional garden, at least in the beginning.
I would like to see more on how u put those fences up, what kind of fencing? how did u connect them.

Good luck with your garden. I have a bucket garden as well and the only thing that I have gotten out of mine is lettuce and a few small tomatoes.

@MRMUDDYSWIFE Sounds like a salad! Anyway, try zuchini. I got a fair crop last year, looks like a lot more this year. Now, these tote planters are a bit different, but are basically the same. The beans all are looking good. I have pole beans, limas, and soybeans. All seem to be doing well. I also have stevia, and my daughter wanted me to try watermelon. I have a flower on the watermelon plant. Seems hopeful.

Looking really good so far. We have the same problem with Cats around here. I had to cover all my buckets with Chicken wire to keep them out.Good luck with your new plants.

@mrbr549 Those little fences are very easy to make, so I'll tell you what... I'll make a video about it this weekend. All you need is the fencing, and wire cutters. Very easy to do, and I should mention that those little fences worked perfectly: Zero cat scat or digging in my buckets.
