Sprouts Italian. Brussels sprouts the most misunderstood vegetable. I did this with and without narration. This one, without narration, was much better; sometimes less is more.

Well rinsed Brussels sprouts, about 4 per person; garlic cloves, elephant garlic if available; blanch sprouts in boiling water with a little olive oil for 15 minutes then drain and cool; press or crush much garlic, sauté with oregano and salt in olive oil; sauté sprouts until garlic caramelizes and turns brown; serve warm.

I love your videos! I've never seen brussel sprouts presented so classy! Of course, my opinion of this vegetable is not unlike your kids reactions; but with all that garlic and loving care - I'd be tempted to try them again!

i thought i was going to hate brussel sprouts, tried frozen sprouts one day and fell in love with them. taste really good in chicken noodle soup (Home made)

Great one Joe. When i was younger i used to hate brussel sprouts, but i've learned to like them. And now i don't have any kind of problem with brussel sprouts. That recipe looks great.
