Hey everyone. Welcome to Clevver TV - I'm Dana Ward.

So where on earth do we start with Jon and Kate Plus 8?? Do you want the good news or the bad? I think you said GOOD, so let's just say that the popular TLC reality show and its latest 5th season is off to a strong start with almost 10-million people tuning in to the premiere. Now, that's the good news that probably came about because of the bad... which, unfortunately, begins with a whole lotta gossip.

Allegations arose in recent months that that Jon cheated on his wife with a 23-year-old teacher. Plus, there have been stories that Kate is a manipulative partner and that she actually cheated on her husband with their bodyguard. Both have apparently denied the accusations, but even Kate herself has alluded to the media that a separation may be in the near future.

Plus an outside source, a neighbor, has even reportedly said that Jon sleeps in an apartment over the garage in the couple's new 1.1-million-dollar home. Surprisingly, we haven't even mentioned the focal point of the TLC favorite: the kids. There are the stories that the show is under investigation for possibly NOT complying with Pennsylvania child labor laws. The state department is looking into the amount of scenes that are RE-shot for entertainment value as well as where the 50-thousand to 75-thousand per episode paycheck is going... Are these kids ever going to see a dollar of the empire they've helped create?

i believe kate is a good mother she had to be stern with her children especially since jon is very passive. she had to punish and discipline her kids, taking care of 8 kids is not easy you know?. I know she treated jon badly and she knows she was in the wrong for that but he is stupid for really cheating on his wife and kids. he seems like he doesnt care because kate is taking care of the children most of the time while he is smoking and clubbing. so she is a good mother

Are you joking? I know Kate can be mean sometimes but that is absolute bull. Kate spent most of her time watching after those kids and planning things while Jon just kind of went along with it. I agree that she didn't always treat her right, but Jon always exploded at her right when things were going wrong and never talked things out with her

Kate even told John a long time ago, three years before to talk it out and not explode at her, he didn't listen and it held emotions in and was an ass

@iwearpajanmas98 How do we know she is taking advantage of her kids? Are you kidding me? She has pimped them out on TV for 5 years! People watch for the children, not Jon and Kate! She has used the money earned from this show on herself - boob job, hair extensions (@$7000 USD), ear lobes redone, tooth veneers, Botox injections, etc., etc. If you look at the very first J&K+8 show and look at her now, there is little resemblance. Do some research!!!

Ok we have no bussiness in what they do in there life they money checks will be spent to words the kids $%£@!.There house was 1.1 mill wow i thought it would be much cheaper than that
