Demi: Ok {Dials Joe's number}
Joe: {Picks Up} Hello?
Demi: Hey Joe, it's me Demi?
Joe: Oh Hey Demi
Demi: Hey do you still want to meet up for coffee?
Joe: Yeah sure {Smiles}
Demi: Where do you want to meet up?
Joe: Um... How about I pick you up?
Demi: Ok you can pick me up at ... {Gives him the address}
Joe: Ok see you in a little bit {Hangs up}
Demi: {Hangs up too}
Denise: Who's Joe?
Demi: The police officer who's working on the Sterling case and he's also Nick's friend.
Denise: Oh ok
Demi: {Here's a horn beep} He's here; if Skylar wakes up call me or Nick
Denise: Ok I know how to handle kids Dems
Demi: I know you do mom, Love you bye {Kisses her cheek and leaves}
**With Joe and Demi**
Joe: {Sees Demi coming} Hey {Opens the door for her}
Demi: {Gets in} Hey
Joe: {Gets in too}
**The ride was mostly silent**
Joe: {Parks the car} Here we are {Gets out and Opens the door for her and helps her out}
Demi: {Gets out} Thanks Joe
Joe: No problem {locks the car}
**When they get inside**
Joe: {Pulls out Demi's chair} Here you go
Demi: {Sits down}
Joe: {Pushes her chair in}
Demi: Thanks Joe
Joe: No Problem
Waitress: {Goes over to Joe and Demi} May I take your order?
Joe: Yes I'll have a cup of Regular Coffee {Looks at Demi}
Demi: And I'll have the Espresso
Waitress: {Writes it down} Anything else?
Joe: {Looks at Demi who shakes her head} No thanks
Waitress: Ok, your food will be right up {Leaves}
Joe: You ok Demi?
Demi: {Doesn't look up at him} Yeah why?
Joe: {Knows something's up with her} It's just that you look tired
Demi: Yeah I guess I am tired {Sighs}
Joe: {Scoots his chair over, so he's sitting besides her instead of in front of her} What's Wrong? Tell me about? Maybe I can do something
Demi: {About to cry} The last few days have been really hard on me and Skylar with everything that has happened to us, because of Sterling Skylar is scared of the boys, She thinks they're going to hurt like Sterling did, she won't go near my little brother Frankie, Kevin or My dad, Whenever I'm working in the kitchen she'll be holding onto my leg or would want to be picked up either by me or Nick... {Crying}
Waitress: Here are your drinks {Puts it on the table and leaves}
Joe: {Nods at the waiter} It's ok come on let's go to my place {Picks up the drinks and opens the door for Demi}
**When they get to Joe's Place**
Joe: {Puts the drinks on the Counter and goes to sit next to her} now continue
Demi: {Wipes her tears} Well right now I'm living with my parents and Frankie because Skylar is scared to even go back to living in the house we were living in before and won't even talk to anybody except me or Nick and even if she does she'll whisper it in my and Nicks ears when other people are around. {Wipes her tears}
Joe: {Hugs her} I didn't know it had that kind of Impact on her, but I believe it's going to be ok with time.
Demi: Thanks Joe, you really know how to make people feel better {Lays her head on Joe's Shoulder}
Joe: Dems can I try something real quick? {Turns toward her}
Demi: Yeah sure what is it? {Looks at Joe}
