Well, if you were being sarcastic you should be aware that when writing online it's almost impossible to tell the difference between a serious sentence and a sarcastic one. Most people can only tell when one is being sarcastic when the most outrageous things get said, or when the tone quickly changes from something "heated" to something "non heated."

Also I don't understand your comment. You were being sarcastic about what? Being specific can help significantly! :)

People create words everyday. Titles, lyrics, birth names, etc. To disagree would label you as a close minded person. If you were trying to say that the word "gotten" cannot be used in a sentence you are obviously mistaken.

If you're trying to say that the word "gotten" doesn't exist in the English Dictionary you should be more specific next time, because technically anything can be said in a language.
