Parrishs Verbal Attack

At the Sept. 30th, Council meeting while Councillor Carolyn Parrish was sitting in the Mayors chair, Chairing the Council meeting. During Public Question Period (PQP), I tried to address Council in the way acceptable to Council since it changed the rules in 2006 and Councillor Parrish interrupted me saying there were new rules now. That I was limited to just a couple sentences before asking the question and was so threatening towards me as to trying to terrorize a person who has already been thrown in prison on false charges by the City regarding PQP.
The fact of the matter is that both she and the City Clerk later acknowledged the rules changes would not come effect.
What is even worse - Parrish was the main driver behind calling for the Judaical Inquiry in to Hazel McCallion's business deals and this is she didn't was to be publicly presented with - Government documents that show a clear link between Peter McCallion and his mother, while she was sitting as Mayor in a business deal. A transaction involving the company Hazel McCallion was using to act as a developer in Mississauga and that she had been hiding the details of. Also, a letter from a City Councillor to a developer regarding Peter and getting rezoneing that staff were opposed to. Very questionable actions by Parrish indeed - maybe the Mississauga Inquiry is just a front to get rid of Hazel and the outcome has already been decided.

Totally agree with you. I was surprised to read in the paper yesterday that Bonnie Crombie defeated Parrish by only 124 votes. People in Ward 5 obviously have no idea how evil that woman (Parrish that is) really is.

With people like Parrish and Iannicca, this city is going down in flames. If any of these two ever becomes a mayor, we're royally screwed!

Have you noticed how she rolled her eyes (at 5:45) just as Councillor Saito started to speak? Where is the respect for your colleagues? Maybe she'd like to make dolls of Mayor Mcallion and the city councillors (except, of course, Iannicca) and stomp on them too? People, you have to open your eyes, individuals like her DO NOT belong on the City Council!
