@TheOtherView the idea of spreading "democracy" is just an excuse for an imperialist COLONIZER ( United States) to occupy and exploit a poorer country ( like Iraq and Afganistan.) We saw the same in the Phillipino- American War, as well as the "annexation" or blatant theft of Hawaii. So actually, Goodman knows what she is taking about. obama has done alot as a 1 term president(dont ask,dont tell repeal,health care he saved the auto industry no matter what is said about the stimulus it avoided a depression)but he was elected to change washington and get power away from the corporations and to the people and he has not done that.Regular citizens get laws and corporations get "tax incentives"Call on supreme court to overturn Corporate Personhood and then we can start to get back on the right track of for the people by the people.

Like any other semi progressive president, he does things halfway and please the insane right wing in this nation because he is afraid of being called a socialist. If Obama took a bullet for these people they still wouldnt vote for him. Time to fight Mr. President or you will go the way of every other failed progressive president.

I feel like Obama has compromised alot to appease the republicans and get some things done but i feel like even though he has somersaulted and twisted and done everything he could to try to make them happy, in order to get something done, i feel like the republican party has not compromised at all. They have stood in his way and kept him at the point of a gun from getting any changes done. And then they say he hasnt wanted to do anything and then they blame him for the mess that BUSH JR caused.
