I was talking about the E46 M3, not the E90 & E92 which have a 4.0L V8 with 414 HP. The E46 M3 has 333 HP.
-
@IrishChris1979 M3 is a 4.0 V8

My 335i is a 3.0L and the M3 is a 3.2L. The 335i is twin turbo'd and still rated at less HP than the M3. If the engines are the same, how can the twin turbo version have less HP? They're both inline 6 engines, but not the same engine.

@gabrielociruelo I'm talking stock for stock. Once you modify a car anything is game. If you put a exhaust and chip in the 335i, then you take on modified cars. I've seen modified Civics that will bitch slap a 335i and M3 all day long. But to me their still a crap car, I like the whole package, interior, engine feel, chassis feel, sounds ect ect.

@IrishChris1979 i hope you realize they use the same engine : /

@TheTruthHurtsYup Why? i would take a New m3 over the 335i but not the old one.. the one in this video is a old one.. i love the new m3's upgrades from the old one.. i wouldnt take the old m3
-
@TheTruthHurtsYup not when you put exhaust intake and then chip it.

How about the fact that 335 is turbo'd & M3 is pure motor. The aspect changes when a turbo comes in to play. There's probably delay in the 335 which could be why the m3 gets off the line quicker. Also ones a 4 seater the others a coupe. Idk just a thought. Turbo the m3 tho & you'll walk damn near anything :D
they are mexicans

I've owned a M3 and driven a 335i. I'll take the M3 any day of the week. The M3 just is so much more fun, better sounds, purer engine response, better chassis feel, just better. M3 FTW.
