@BRUMARTUBE i agree with you on that

@MyLovelyHomicide All right, but only *you* can judge the negative effects. Not a doctor, still less a politician. Addiction is relative, even if it is true that some substance are more addictive than others, and some people have more addictive-temperament. Toxicity is relative also. For some people coffee is both toxic and addictive, for other, neither tobacco nor heroin are addictive. But once such products are illegal, there are sold wildly in very bad conditions. Prohibition is non sense.

@BRUMARTUBE dude, dunno where the hell your minds at. medication means you take a substance to get better. so a drug can be it or not. a vice is something you like that has a negative side effect. so all addictive substances can be vices aswell, without moral judgement. cannabis is the target of interest because people just like getting wasted. and i find your opinion about "good" and "bad" drugs quite childish. the only difference is that youve got to be more careful with class A drugs. cheers

@MyLovelyHomicide Vice? Drug are just medication. It is not a coincidence that cheap, innocuous and efficacious medications are the target of the special interests, like cannabis and salvia divinorum. If cannabis and salvia were promoted instead of banned, less people would use nasty things like crack or meth. By using the term "vice" you make a moral judgement which has no place here. Coffee, aspirin, chocolate, are all drugs. Most animal use drugs since the beginning of life.

@BRUMARTUBE i think you mix concepts. for example, heroin isnt hardly used now while it is still illegal. why? well, it has nothing to do with legal-illegal. it has to do with it being trendy during the 70s-80s: now the youth sees how devastating it was to its consumers. nowadays people do it with meth, which isnt any better, so in the future the same will happen. drugs will have consumers as long as people have vices wether they're legal or not. the goal is for the rest to learn livin with it
-
@MyLovelyHomicide All experiences show the contrary. When heroin is legal, it is sold in pharmacy with medical prescription with clean needle. It lost its appeal on the youth, and its consumption almost disappear. Crack and meth would not exist at all if all drugs were legal. Again, its use comes from the misinformation on drugs due to prohibition. In many countries, heroin is the first to be (unofficially) legalized, if only to prevent the spreading of AIDS. There is only a prohibition problem.

@BRUMARTUBE i agree with you, but im sorry, prohibition does keep drugs more innaccesible. dont believe me? how many people do you know have tried heroin or meth? how about underage people smoking cigs or drinking alcohol? see the difference?once you got it in the shop next to your house you can always ask someone to buy it for you. that way you dont have to deal with people involved in illegal activities (dealers). btw, this is about access to drugs, so dont take the rest as my opinion.
