We hiked up to the top of this huge mountain in Colorado. The summit is 12,612 feet above sea-level. AKA 2 1/2 miles.

I note that you say you "hiked" up, but I seem to recall from my summer visit to CB that there's a chairlift that takes people the vast majority of the way up and the rest is pretty easy. Not a true hike.

it is 12,162 i used to live there. I love the city reference only 3,000 people live in that valley...
