Tired of people complaining about our Situation about hip hop today. It's not dead, it's not even dying. All of you are just too stuck up in the "glory" days of hip hop to realize that some of the best artists that will ever live in hip hop's history are alive today and kickin hard material daily.

@fabulousgirl112 Keep doing that! My son is seventeen and his favorite rapper is Slick Rick. I told him about the golden era & he did his research. Now he's a big Slick Rick fan. With out my influence at all he looks at todays rap different. Unfortunately tons of money can take the purity out of things and ruin it. When Melle Mel, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Young LL Cool J, Young Run-DMC, KRS-ONE, Kool G. Rap, were rockin you had to be extremely great on the mic to even be relevant! Then u got paid

@fabulousgirl112 youre in the right spot right now thats for sure

@rooche14 You really wanna know when rap fell off... believe it or not... BadBoys. Puff... people couldnt see it at the time.. you can clearly mark the end of all real hip hop when puff went world wide. They absolutely had hits, but it all went from underground to POP same as R&B. both R&B and Rap grew up (financialy and status) it all went wholesale crushing all growth of new grimey underground artist. even thats been replaced by stuff like american idol.

its weird, how I'm fourteen, and I study hip-hop like its homework. And, if it was a subject, I would be getting A's.
I get stuck in the late 80s and 90s when it comes to hiphop...
Golden Era forever!!
