It Was You | Dean/Haley

"Time to be honest. This time I'm bleeding. Please don't dwell on it cause I didn't mean it."

Read first!!! AU crossover between Dean from SPN and Haley from OTH.

The first verse and chorus is from Haley's point of view following her meeting and falling for Dean Winchester, but she grows tired of being left in the middle of the night. This leads to a heated argument about his job and she walks out. She talks about some things with her good friend, Nathan, who has always wanted to be with her. We then see what Haley's been up to the past five years right up until the re-emergence of Dean in her life leading up to a big reveal.
The second verse goes back five years again and shows everything from Dean's point of view. Following the lyrics of the 2nd verse, we see that Dean let Haley see a part of his life he never showed anyone else, hunting. After their big breakup which we saw from Haley's POV, Dean leaves town and continues hunting.
Back to present day, we see Haley and Nathan's rocky marriage dissolve, but can Dean and Haley put the past in the past?


Maker's Notes:
This is my first Crossover vid and I did it to my favorite crossover couple ever: Daley! I'm pretty sure this fact made me more anal and nit-picky over this vid, but I hope it paid off. I spent weeks working on voiceovers and how to get them to say what I wanted before I even started on collecting episode clips. (Special thanks to a certain BFF who is a SPN buff and really helped me find what I needed) Please be sure to comment so I can see if AU crossovers are something I should be delving into or if I should leave it to pros like gaby0189. (If you haven't already, check out her vids. She's my Daley inspiration)

ALSO: I wanted to delve into more of the reasoning behind Haley's decisions in this, but time would not allow. Hmmmmm....sequel? IDK. We'll have to see how this one goes over.

Thanks and yeah I wanted to delve more into the Naley side and show the reasons behind Haley's decisions (Most importantly her decisions to not tell Dean and then to leave Nathan) but time would not allow. I also wanted to show how they would deal with Jamie, telling him and such and see him develop a relationship with Dean while yet Nathan has been his "dad" since he was born. Like I said maybe that's something I can work for in a sequel. Who knows?

Wow that was amazing! I really like the storyline though I did feel bad for Nathan. Perfect clips and song! I'm def faving this one! great job!
