The problem with mini pumps is that you could never pump your tires @ 100%.
Mini pump are only good for a temporary fix.
And maybe using a mini pump to get you started off when you are fixing a flat and using CO2 bottles to top it off. But still those CO2 bottles doesn't tell you exact pressure.
Either way, just get good puncture resistant tires.

@WhiteGravey The small diameter would do 100 p.s.i. easily, it would just take forever to get there since each stroke doesn't have much volume. It's just simple physics, the formula is pv=nrt. The smaller the volume (v) the higher the pressure (p).
