mine too XD Sometimes he grabs the keys of the house that have attached a cord and start spinning them and then he hides them below the sofa, in the backyard or in his plate of food :p
I have a golden that does this same thing when I come home. When she was a puppy she cried and urinated with excitment. Now she cries with joy - as if saying you left me here and I missed you, here is a gift for you. I always have to give her something to carry back into the house - usually some junk mail or else she takes my briefcase.
@SitdukeDog It's typical for retrievers. My flatcoated retriever did the same :) Retrievers, you know!

My Golden does the "toy in his mouth" greet to. I looked online to find out why Goldens do this but unable to find out....but ain't it sweet?!!!!
