What program are you using in this?
-
@Skynamo Cool, thanks a lot!

The artist he is referring to is 'Glenn Vilppu'. :)

First off, excellent set of videos sir.
Second, my question. I find that I am capable of doing the box excersizes competently. My issue is and has always been, a week visualization ability. Sometimes I can see things in my mind perfectly, but for the most part not. And typically the thing I see won't last sustain long enough to complete my drawing.
I noticed you said you have to 'see' it. Using the path, I still have problems 'seeing' in my head.
Any help?

Good one. What do you do with all those construction lines when you don't need them? How do you get rid of them without loosing the look of the piture?
-
box exercise at first glance is boring. however, i got goosebumps when i did it. your videos are really informative. helps relax the analytical mind, in order to start theorizing design elements. exactly what i was looking for!

Excellent fundamental stuff, you and Feng Zhu have made some of the best drawing/design tutorials on youtube.:D

Great stuff, thanks.

I'm really really glad you keep posting these. For a moment there I thought you stopped doing any kind of tutorials back in early 2010.
You rock! :)

@m1ch0u Yes, for a while I had said all I had to say. I just had to go away until I had something more.

To start: Great exercises and great instruction. However, people respond to positive better than negative. I know the world isn't nice or forgiving but the questions, "How did it fail?" and "How did I screw up?" should be "How can it be better?" or "How can I improve?"

@NobleValerian Drawing skills are just tools to get the job done. If you have a rusty old rifle, you can't go out and hunt with it until you scour out all the crap and rust from the thing, tighten the bolts and adjust the scope.
However, there will always come a time when you discover that you left a wad of filth in its inner workings. If you really love that rifle and you love hunting, it is your duty to take that thing into pieces and fix it!
Your rifle is not you, and neither are skills.
