In October 1993 Flying Scotsman was the star attraction at the Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway. It was in its double chimney and smoke deflector phase at the time. It was also before Health and Safety had been inflicted on us all, just look at all the people enjoying themselves wandering about as they pleased.

The Paint Job had nothing to do with Pete Waterman. I did it ! It was done at Babcocks and sanctioned by Sir William McAlpine who was the sole owner at the time.
