  • Thats wonderful news that you have recovered so well!! I just had surgery for an avm 3 months ago and have recovered well also! I am so grateful for every new day! I agree about the therapists, they would give me preschool flashcards and ask me to group them! LOL But if we are able to complain than that means we are doing good!! AMEN! :-)

  • @firemanbill410 How are you doing now? I hope and pray you are well.

  • Ah, yes this reminds me of 2005 when I had to go through all of this

  • Amit. My nephew, 18 is at Kessler right now due to an AVM. I can't wait to show him this tomorrow. He is down and out... the why me thinking. I can't wait to show him this tomorrow. Thank you !!!

  • I am 4 weeks out from my AVM resection. I had a 3cm right occipital AVM removed. So far so good. Being 50+.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

  • I'm literally crying when I am typing because of your condition, I have it. You are so lucky to be normal, in my case they found the AVM when I was 7. From then on, life has not been the same. I'm 19 now. Thank you for sharing.
