i think that it is cool as hell. I would have never thought of using diesel engine like this. Just to think while us nitro guys are stopping to fuel up it will be like that commercial on tv where they just pass the pump and keep on trucking. But i bet that this truck will out pull any or our trucks any day of the week. Just to think no more glow plugs. One more question diesel what is the top speed of your diesel revo i am curious and thinking about building one from the ground up.

The Revo in the video is covering 160ft from a dead stop to breaking in 3 seconds. Thats approx 40MPH. Traxxas rates it's trucks at 270ft. It's safe to say it would have reached 50mph, but I doubt the tires would have stayed on. If you change the gears, you can go faster but you will need low profile tires. Ultimate speed could be 60-70mph.

diesel is bad for glow engines, you re going to blow your engine, and it's going so slow.. my stock t maxx is twice as fast. i give u credit for being able to do it and ingenuity, 0 for performance.

We've been at this for 33 years with proven results. Where do you get your comments from? Have you ever tried our products? We've never had anyone come back to us saying our conversions blew their engine.

This is what i have been looking for! I reside in Africa. I bought a Revo 3.3 over a year ago and have not been a ble to get it started due to non availability of nitro fuel or nitromenthane in my country. How can i order the kit and everyting i would need to convert my Revo.3.3 to a diesel Revo 3.3?

The last time I converted a TRX engine to diesel, the crank rusted to hell. Terrible experience.

@CanadianTechHelps it's not regular diesel fuel, it's special rc fuel for diesels, it's hard to find and pricey.

Wow, this would REALLY save some money... nitro is really expensive... 1 gallon costs me $40 and lasts me 2 months... diesel is $5 a gallon and would last me 2 months?

Doesn't sound right at low RPM. Sounds like it's misfiring. Maybe a bit too lean? Compression off?

@savage464646 Who knows? It could have been from sitting, it could have been from bad gaskets and seals. I can't say. It was over 2 years ago with an old Pro 15. I remember taking it apart after a failed diesel conversion and the crank was rusted.

@AlchemistHawk well how the hell would diesle rust the crank its oil based lubricant you must have had more moisture than diesle in there somehow then. and your right about the comment im sorry for that I was having a shitty day and snapped when I read that diesle rusted something again im sorry for the comments they were out of line and I feel dumb for writeing such filth but diesle would not rust your crank!
