Pitching Mechanics Analysis Slow Motion

I have been working on my own mechanics too...
Timing is key!
You have a very, very early separation of the hands from the glove.
If you separated the hands later, about half-way through the stride it would mean that your torso and shoulder has more time to build up power.
Here's a big tip: When I pause your video when your shoulders are most separated, you are still mostly weighted on the back leg.
Quality pitchers develop full shoulder separation very late in stride (after landing).

@djusbox you need to work on your flexibility and looseness. you aren't getting full range of motion from either your legs or your arms. It looks like you're throwing it like one should throw a football.

First, you broke your hands too soon. You also looked like you were throwing with more elbow than you were with your lower body. It all starts with the feet, legs, core, and then the upper body and into the arm. Your follow through, your back foot came up way too soon. When your plant foot lands, your back foot should have just been rolling forward. Flying open can and WILL lead to control problems and eventually injury. That`s just what I see man but if you want/need more advice, hit me up.

@hurehurley yea no problem. i will let you know when i post it. it should be up by this saturday. if it isnt it will not be up until the week of the 11th of july because im going on vacation next week and will not have access to my computer

dont bring your foot up so early in the back and keep your hand away from the face like keep your throwing arm away from the face when you deliver
-
you should prolly put some cleats on first off bro ha

@hurehurley you need to bring your front lag back further and lead with your front hip and not your foot-reach your arm completely back and (don't hook your arm) and your front foot should land as far in front of you as possible. Pitchers stride should be 120% of their body length to increase velocity
there are a lot of things you need to work on.....if u send me a message or comment back i will post a video on my page on what you need to work on and what your flaws are that i see in your mechanics

@djusbox Hi, that would be very nice of you! It's been a while since I've put up another try. Trying to work on my overall fitness right now and then give it another shot. What I experienced by clowning around while playing catch was that I propably feel much more confident and stronger throwing sidearm. I know that it's basically the same motion, just that you're more bent at the waist. So I'm sure it would still help a lot if you tell me some things. Seeing is always better than just words!

Thanks guys (honestly). Sure I gotta work on my mechanics. It's not that I think what I do on this tape is any good... I wanted to know what I can do better. The wrist is a big problem. Probably the biggest of them all cause I always threw like that from the beggining and noone paid attention... also takin' ball to the ear kills me :D Worked hard on it with a coach from Faulkner University, AL in the meantime. But I don't think I'll get footage in until spring but plenty of winter to fix it!

I'm glad I'm not a darn Yankee =) Besides your comment being the most productive of all, there's no need to call me names dude. That's all I wanted to say by that!

whit this mechanic you have nothing, no speed, no consistence delivering at strike zone and you dont have Streng to Throw, if you wanna be better come here to DOMINICAN REPUBLIC i`m practicing is this country DR and they are the best in this sport.
