  • whats the difference between a sth-10A and sth-10B?

  • STH-10A is three phase, STH-10B is single phase.

Externally, the STH-10B uses a larger looking motor with a ridged top.

  • cool ours sounds a lot diffrent we have the a siren

  • cool :)

  • @bearlovesox The 500 has to lug a heavy-ass siren round on its rotator, I doubt it's single phase otherwise it would be even slower wind-up.

  • Awesome sounding STH-10B, Justin! :)

  • You know what, this tells me that the Federal 500 here in Reedsburg is single phase. I have wondered why it sounded so different than a normal STH-10 and this must be the reason, they sound exactly alike.

  • Nice recording of that STH-10, Justin!

  • Great recording, like always!
