  • @2e0hts i got a ft-100 in my mobile here in the states to

  • You NEVER put a antenna near powerlines... Might I suggest, nextime you do a video like this, going to a park, or open field? I'd hate to see anyone get hurt. Just a thought.

  • thanks for posting..... de kl0ky

  • nice put together video, i to thought god thats close to power lines,

  • nice dog

  • thats cool wouldnt mind having that set up for cb

  • @TheZeke1974

i have seen these used by a number of people. including people who did not set it up right. even in those cases it still worked good.

when i get my own place i will be getting one of these.

  • A lot of unknowing hams discount this antenna as being "junk" or "hard to tune." The secret is to put out as many radials as possible. It just WONT WORK if it has no radials.

  • Hi Im thinking of getting one of these as opposed to the cobwebb how did you find it FOR DX and have you ever field tested it for output as opposed to another vertical as I hear the traps are very lossy Thanks Damian de 2E0SFX,

PS Is there any chance you could do an instructional do's and donts of getting on sats with the ft847 cheers again.
