This isn't how the book went at all. It realy pissed me off. First, in the book Jack used a roque mallet not an ax, second Wendy and Danny never tried to escape using the window, third Wendy didnt use a knife she used a razor, and forth Wendy had blonde hair, not brown or whatever color her hair was in the movie.
