Yeah. The power you can boost out, and the sound of the pedals are very different if it´s double pedal, or 2 bass drums with on each pedal.

personally i think 2 bass drums is more natural. and theres like a whole lot more to it, jus tlook up the dave lombardo drum clinic or something, it explains some stuff there
