Voltage Tester Fluke T140Electrical tester Fluke T140 is a small but multifunctional device. It measures direct and alternating voltage, tests continuity with a sound signal, indicates polarity, measures frequency, determines rotation direction of a standard electric motor in a three-phase network, searches phases in monophase networks, and tests diodes. It can also measure resistance and, if needed, it can illuminate a necessary spot with its bright built-in light-emitting diode. One probe of the tester in built into an ergonomic case while the other is placed on the wire. This allows to do measuring and testing more conveniently, with one hand. Test and measurement results are displayed with the help of LEDs. Voltage values are indicated by 6 LEDs. Each of them corresponds to a specified value. One LED indicates which of the wires is a phase, the other indicates open-circuit failure, while L and R diodes show rotation direction of an electric motor in a three-phase network. One of the virtues of Fluke T140 is that the tester is supplied with an LCD display which shows more accurate data on the measured parameter value.
